Sweet friend card

2 / 26 / 15

I am blessed to have many sweet friends in my life and I can’t wait to give this card to one of them.  I used the Painted petals stamp set!  And this is the a great time to order it during Sale-a-bration when you can get free products for every $50 you spend.

I used a dauber with Strawberry slush to put on the edges of the flowers.  It gives them a little dimension.  Here are the supplies I used to make this cute card.  The round scalloped die is something from my stash.

Sheltering Tree Card

2 / 20 / 15

I used the Sheltering Tree Stamp set.  This card reminds me of Spring and makes me happy.  Right now, in Texas, it’s been very mild and spring like.  That suppose to change in a few days with a chance of ice and snow but looking at this card reminds me that Spring is not far away.  🙂  Oh and the swing makes me smile too!  🙂shelteringtree1

You are Amazing Bookmark Card

2 / 19 / 15

Painted Petals is one of my favorite stamp sets right now.  It’s the flowers that get me and all the color possibilities.  Also the Panted Petals paper is beautiful….so much so, that I hate to cut it!  🙂  I saw a youtube video recently showing how to use the perforated rotary blade from Stampin’ up to make a bookmark card.  I like how it’s a card but also a bookmark.

Perpetual Birthday Calendar Kit

2 / 17 / 15

I ordered the perpetual birthday calendar kit with the stamp set.  I wasn’t sure about it but it’s wonderful!  It comes with a bunch of yummy embellishments.  There is so much stuff, I’m sure I’ll have some left to make some cards with! I’ve never tried a birthday calendar but hoping this one will keep me on track with birthdays!  🙂

More Birthdays

2 / 16 / 15

Lots of February birthdays to celebrate including my youngest son and daughter!  Here’s one that I may pick for my daughter.  Love the calypso coral trim I was able to use.  Also used Big Day stamp set and the Best Day ever paper earned from the Sale-a-bration catalog!

Happy Valentine’s Day

2 / 14 / 15

Hope your Valentine’s Day is wonderful!  Love this simply elegant card.  I made it using the Lotus Bloom stamp set with real red and blushing bride ink colors.  With the black card base it really pops.

Polaroid Valentine

2 / 11 / 15

I cased this card from Alystamps and added my own twist.  The tricky part was making my own polaroid window for this shaker card.  I also added some non-stampin up glitter.  Cute card but will probably rework it using only stampinup products and a different background.  Thank you for letting me shard my success’ and maybe not so successful cards here.  🙂
