I love chickens and use to have two of my own, Millie and Maxine. They have the cutest personalities and are very smart (well some can be really smart).
When I saw this free stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration brochure I knew I had to have them. I only had to spend $50 and I got them for free!
Here are all the details on this cute card!
I used the hexagon texture folder to create the cage likeness on the card. I just inked the folder and then put the piece of very vanilla card stock in it and pressed down.
The smaller square was make with square layering thinlets at about 2 3/4″. I stamped the chicken image onto it and used the new watercolor pencils to color her. Then I used my aqua painter to blend the colors. I popped the square up with dimensionsals on to the mat. Then tied real red baker’s twine into a bow before adhering the mat to the card base. I used white craft ink to stamp the sentiment onto black card stock. then I dovetailed the end to make a little tag. Accented with a red candy dot embellishment. It turned out so cute! Enjoy!
