Have you heard of the eclipse technique? I hadn’t until I started seeing it on pinterest and I had to find out how to do it. It’s really simple and makes a great effect on your cards and scrapbooks. I used the cat punch for mine and I love how it turned out!
On the first two cards, I used Wood Words from the Annual catalog. I stamped first and then used the cat punch to punch out. Before putting the cat back in place, and to add an extra layer, I punched the cat out of a solid color of card stock and adhered that to the back of my stamped cat. Then I used dimensionals to adhere it back on to the front of the card (so it stands up a bit).
On the last card, instead of stamping, I used a piece of Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper on a Cajun Craze Card Base. This cat is a little more hidden but I love it! The sentiment came with the September Paper Pumpkin Kit!
