Hope you are having a good day! The stamp set I’m featuring today is called A Good Day and it’s from the New Occasions Catalog. These images make a cute card to give someone a “good day”!
And they coordinate perfectly with these tiny embroidery hoops!
The embroidery hoops come in a pack with two sizes and both coordinate well with the 1 3/8″ scallop punch. I have two cards for you to show off this cute set.
The first card uses Daffodil Delight Card Stock and I ran it thru the Big Shot with a embossing folder. This folder is a retired product but any polka dot folder would work to recreate this card. I stamped the image with Memento Black Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. Also used tiny rain drop from the stamp set Weather Together for the background on the tag. I used glue dots to adhere the embroidery hoop to the card.

Hope you enjoy this card! I’ll be back tomorrow to show you another one made with this stamp set. Check out my special on Stampin’ Blends.
I had a great time this past weekend crafting with friends. We had so much fun and laughed more than I’ve laughed in a long time!
And if you are wondering if I got anything done? Yes, even with all the talking and laughter I completed lots of cards! 🙂
I used new stuff from the Annual Catalog and made lots of cards!
Most of my ideas came from Pinterest. Enjoy the inspiration!
We all need sympathy cards and get well cards. A great stamp set for this is Thoughts & Prayers. Sometimes during difficult times, it’s hard to know the right words to say and this set helps with that so much. It has sentiments for the outside AND the inside. So over the next couple of days I’ll be showing you some simple sympathy and get well cards to make using this set.
These cards were inspired by pinterest (my favorite resource). My first card only uses the sentiments and Designer Series Paper and of course ribbon.
I used Whisper White Card Base and a Whisper White mat. I used a piece of Designer Series Paper from Delightful Daisy. Stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Ink. Added a bow using Peekaboo Peach Striped Cross Grain ribbon. Easy peesy!
Enjoy today and create something!
Summer is here and in full swing! Which means in Texas we are hot, humid, and sticky. Good time to stay in and make cards and try not to think about my beautiful flowers sweltering in the heat. 🙂
Love this new stamp set with all the flower options and the cute sentiments.
Lots of options available with this bundle! I used some new In-Colors: Berry Burst Ink and Paper, Lemon Lime Twist Ink and Paper, Powder Pink Ink, and Soft Sky Ink. Love how it turned out! I cased (copy and share everything) this card from Jari at Card-iology!
Here’s the ingredients: Berry Burst card stock and ink, Lemon Lime Twist card stock and ink, Soft Sky Ink, Powder Pink Ink, Whisper White card stock, linen thread.
Enjoy and create today!
I’m playing with Eastern Palace again and realizing how versatile it is! I love these sweet flowers in these bright summer colors! I used one of the new 2017-18 In Colors that will you can get now with the Eastern Palace bundle called Lemon Lime Twist! It pairs perfectly with Melon Mambo Ink.
Card Ingredients: Card base: Whisper White card stock, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ Mat: Eastern Palace DSP 5 1/4″ x 4″ White Mat: 5″ x 3 3/4″
I used Silver Embossing Powder to make the out line of the flowers. Then used an aqua painter with Melon Mambo Ink and Lemon Lime Twist Ink to color in the flowers. I used a small detail stamp from the set to add the little diamonds. Layering Circles for the sentiment. Sentiment is embossed with Silver Powder and stamped in Melon Mambo Ink. Embellishments: Silver thread.
Enjoy and fine time to create to day!

Spring is here in North Texas! In fact, it’s felt like spring for a while and I know we will quickly move into summer temps here. But I’m enjoying these warmer days and cool nights for now.
We made this card in class the other night and it reminds me of spring! The glimmer paper: Sweet Sugar Plum is already out in the Sale-a-bration Brochure. But this card would be beautiful in the Blushing Bride Glimmer paper or the Real Red Glimmer paper.
I used the thinlet from the Window Shopping Box set. So easy to run that thru the Big Shot and then add the glimmer paper in back. The sentiment is from that same bundle and then I added a piece of Silver Ribbon (free in the sale-a-bration brochure with a $50 purchase).
Ingredients for this card:
Whisper White Card Stock
Sweet Sugar Plum Card Stock & Glimmer Paper
Sweet Sugar Plum Ink
